Abstract: Modern eco-agriculture represents the fundamental direction of Chinese-style agricultural modernization, which is a product of profound reflection on Western industrialized agriculture, and emphasizes the integration of traditional farming wisdom with advanced modern science and technology. High-quality development of modern eco-agriculture requires breaking away from the mechanistic cognition and linear thinking inherent to industrialized agriculture, instead following basic ecological principles. By simulating the “producer-consumer-decomposer” model of natural ecosystems, it aims to build a complex agricultural system for zero pollution and high efficiency. Taking “Agriculture-Land-People” as a community of life, respecting the living nature of agriculture, maintaining soil health, taking a systemic approach, enhancing nutritional and health value, and pursuing the maximization and equalization of ecological well-being constitute the underlying logic of high-quality development in modern eco-agriculture. This truly reflects the multidimensional inherent value of agriculture in generating living being, nourishing the body, building the mind, and raising the spirit for human being.
